About Counselling

“It is the client who knows what hurts,

what direction to go, what problems are crucial,

and what experiences have been deeply buried.”

Carl Rogers (Founder of the Person-Centred Approach/Therapy)

As a Person-Centred Therapist, I will support you through exploring your own thoughts, feelings and experiences, as I believe that no one understands you as much as you do.

What is
Person-Centred Therapy?

Person-centred therapy is a form of talking therapy, where the client, you, are listened to without judgement, to help you explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, confidential and therapeutic environment.

As I currently only offer online counselling, this can either be via telephone sessions or video calls.

I offer a free first short appointment, where we can discuss your current concerns and reasons for seeking counselling; along with offering more information around how counselling works.

Following this, our first counselling session is scheduled and appropriate documentation will be sent out for your perusal and completion of information needed to begin counselling.

Each counselling session is 50 minutes long, and a fee of £50, which is made payable via bank transfer 24 hours before our scheduled session.

The amount of counselling sessions provided can be as many or as few as you would like; alternatively,  we can arrange a fixed number and review how you are feeling at the end of those sessions.
